The main reason why you do not see pictures in tweak lists is simple: pictures ownership. This is one thing modifying pictures belonging to somebody else for the sake of discussion in one forum thread, publishing an article on a website is another thing, alas.

I'd proceed regardless, as using them for educational purposes is in no way a violation of copyright. But that's just me. Asking for permission first would be a good idea though, just to show some consideration.

By the way... Photos...

We need those friggin' razor-sharp plastic pics!

<rant>

I'm a bit frustrated.

I've got four kits, decent lighting and photographic equipment and a two-year-old Nikon that decided quite spontaneously to drop dead as a dodo when I got everything out ready last night. Stone-dead, no matter what I try. Still under warranty. Nonetheless, this sucks.

I know. If I had rather bought a Canon...

(Just in case... Yes, batteries were fully charged.)

Nice! I might be tempted by their North Yemen markings if they scaled that sheet up.......  Fred K.

I agree with you.

By the way I did not knew that North Yemen F-5E/F Tiger II small fleet was operated by Taiwanese mercenary pilots and technicians !

I think the KH cockpit floor might be too shallow.  Here is the approximate cross section at Y=229.5 for both Hasegawa (green) and KH (blue) kits, and T-38 rear cockpit (red) near the same position.  (I believe the T-38 rear cockpit is similar to the single seater cockpit, please confirm.)

Looks like the Hasegawa cockpit floor is more accurate in depth, but the side consoles are too low, whereas the KH side consoles are more accurate in height, but the floor is too high (when compared to the T-38 rear cockpit).  Each grid spacing is one inch.  This will probably affect fitting in accurate sized AM seat.  Back in post #554, Daniel's photos show the KH seat as being shorter than the CAM seat.

The port side console kit cross sections are taller because of the throttle controls.

Same impression here.

LHS/RHS console top level seems fairly accurate, but the floor is too far up.

I've yet to check some sheets and diagrams, though.

I've been doing an honest build review of the kit on my facebook, link in my sig. It's got high points and low point and then some really stupid points...!

Thank you very much ''Breaker'' for your first 3 ''HonestF5'' videos and the other ones to come in the future !

With both these videos and detailed ''discoveries'' from ''Airfixer'' available here, we will save a lot of time and

avoid many basic errors working on this 1/32 Kitty Hawk F-5E Tiger II.

Thanks again to both Top Gun ''Breaker'' & ''Airfixer'' !
