Jim Barry
Looking great, Kevin. I was super impressed with a George on display during my pilgrimage to the US Air Force Museum in Ohio last Oct. Kendzior, LSP_K2, Greg W and 1 other
LSP_K2
Looking great, Kevin. I was super impressed with a George on display during my pilgrimage to the US Air Force Museum in Ohio last Oct. Looks cool, thanks. I so need to get up there again. It's on my "to do" list, but I have no idea when. They just have so much cool stuff there. LSP_K2
OK, so today was reasonable productive. Here the 'pit is reinforced with plastic strips so it absolutely won't become dislodged.
LSP_K2
After some additional "tweaking", horizontal tails are now attached. Fit is about as good as I seem capable of getting them.
LSP_K2
Wings are now attached too, and fit is very, very good, with just a little filler or surfacer being required here and there. Wings, once primered, will undoubtedly need some touch-ups, but I've grown to expect that. Kendzior
LSP_K2
No reason to wait, so I went and installed the clear inspection panel too. Kendzior
LSP_K2
Last, but certainly not least, the MLG assemblies are now complete. Wheels/tires are not attached, just perched in position for the photo. MikeMaben, Kendzior and Shaka HI

LSP_K2
Looks like this will be my air project for September. It's already further along than anything else I currently have, so wrapping it up in the next three months, seems very doable (I hope). LSP_K2
Go Kevin Thanks, I intend to. I just put in about a half hour on her, in fact. MikeMaben and RBrown
LSP_K2
I was just a wee bit bummed to see that the one thing I absolutely don't have for this project, is decals. Fortunately, Montex makes a set (32276), that should work well for this effort. While it's the same tired scheme that everyone and their mother seems to pick (Naoshi Kanno), it's perhaps one of the more visually interesting schemes I've seen so far, so I guess I'll go ahead and do it too.
