Martinnfb
I really like Russian ekranoplanes. The scary idea of Arctic battlefield doesn't seem so distant with machinery like that.

Derek B
Loire 130. Butt ugly and I like Probably no more so than the VS Walrus Anders (more functional than beautiful). However, staying with the French connection, this one has a degree of elegence (Latécoère 631) Derek scvrobeson, Out2gtcha, Hubert Boillot and 1 other
Shawn M
Paul, dont forget the PBM came in "Flying Nightmare" guise, all black ala PBY Black Cat squadrons. The Nightmare crews also added a .30 cal to the bomb aimer window in the bow for straffing, I found ref's to it in crew/pilot accounts but no pics. Hubert Boillot
And the old Air France dolphin livery gives every ugly bucket an idea of grace and beauty Agree with you, although technically it is a winged sea horse (which the French nicknamed "the shrimp", don't ask me why ) Hubert Derek B and phoenix 54
scvrobeson
Martin, I think HpH makes the Letov float conversion. I'd love to see an Italian RS-14 hit the market. Beautiful plane, and practically unheard of Matt AlexM
