monthebiff
nice progress and thanks for the info about the fit off the parts I think i will pass for the aires parts Keep going Mark A bit of a pain those Aires parts Mark but really wanted an open gun bay. Regards. Andy Lots of nice add-ons. Love what you've done with the tail wheel. Sincerely, Mark Thank you Mark, The Eduard resin is a joy to use as it fits perfectly in place of the original kit parts and the detail is superb. Really happy with the tail wheel but took a lot of squeezing in!! Regards. Andy Andy, that is really nice work! Looking very nice indeed. Jay Jay, Thank you, really enjoying the build and pretty well worked my way through opening up all those panels so ready for some paint. Regards. Guest Peterpools
Andy Looking mighty good and it nearly always is the Aires sets that come with a boat load of fit problems. AM and PM addons looking fantastic Keep 'em coming Peter

monthebiff
Managed to get a base coat of colour on the sub assemblies today........ Feels like i am making a bit of progress now and the Eduard resin looks just fantastic under a coat of paint, nice to move on from all that cutting and getting all of the detail behind those open panels to fit!. Mark Mark, Yes I will be adding rivets to this build, I am planning on using the HGW positive rivet set which also deals with the very poor control surface detail. These are for the Hasegawa kit but they do look like they will fit quite well. Should be an interesting part of the project, I have used there "wet transfer" system before on my HpH Ta-154 build and have a good idea how things will work out.......hopefully. Regards. mpk
You know, I've been wandering around the site. Annoying people and what not. Looking at threads like this. This is exactly the thought that went through my mind when I saw this thread pop up again. I kinda think it covers a LOT of what I see around this damned place. Here goes: "What the bloody hell is goin' on in there?" More great work. As usual. Casually looks over at workbench....... "Hey, I'm unusual!" Yeah, like nobody noticed. Bloody idiot! monthebiff
Spent some time on my 190 again after a bit of a break and have managed to get the cockpit completed. Eduard supplied instrument decals as well as the lovely Airscale placards, In hindsight I wish I had used Airscale instrument decals also. Thanks for looking in as ever. Regards.
