ChuckT
I need to blend in a raised plastic ridge with milliput and be able to separate the milliput part from the plastic area to further refine its shape once it dries. Does anyone know a way I can keep the milliput from sticking to the plastic? Thanks in advance. Edited October 25, 2016 by ChuckT

airscale
bare metal foil - you should be able to add it as a barrier layer and later just peel it off

Bill_S
I might suggest silicone spray or parafilm M - you can stretch that stuff very thin, and I'm not aware of much that sticks to wax.

LSP_Kevin
I've used talcum powder with good success, but if you're trying to work with a tightly defined edge or area, I'd go the bare metal foil route. Kev
