Hello there!

Well i guess i have steady hands. I cut the frame with a xactoblade. It was like cutting butter :)

I also added details on the canopy. Out of the box canopy is a bit clean. For better or worse, you decide!

I almost finished, wash and matt cote next.

Ok!

Been working on the wings. When I dry fit the wings to the fuselage, I notice some trouble with the joining. Trumpeter wants you to glue the wings at last part of the build. This is not the right way to do if you dont want fitting problems.  You have to glue the wings FIRST, even before the fuselage is glued. I solved this problem by drill holes and lock the wings with steel pins. After this the wings fits nicely with a seamless joing to the fuselage.

That was just one of the problems with joining. To fill many of the seams that is ugly as hell. I use the method with liquid putty and isopropanol.

First of all just use putty in the affected area and let it dry for a while. Then use cotton pins soaked in isopropanol.

Great start. They kit builds into a very impressively sized beast when it is finished. Are you undertaking any of the common modifications to it it or leaving it mostly as is?

Eric.

Well some details i will adjust, but not all.

Anyway I will try to build Flightpath access ladder. It is a model itself. But im not gonna use any Cyano glue(I will only use cyano to the scratch made triangle thingy that holds the footstands) . I will weld it.

I need some equipment for this:

Liquid weldigsolder.
