ax365
Sorry I'm a little late to the party but here's my mug. My friend Paul (left) and myself on the 18th green at Harbour Town Golf Course in January 17. Before I played it, every time I watched the RBC Heritage Classic and someone missed an incredibly short, easy looking putt, I'd say to myself, "How could you miss a putt like that?" Now I know EXACTLY how they could miss a putt like that. It was like putting on a tile floor. Mike
quang
Time to revive this fantastic thread. Here's me and a modeller friend before I got back to aircraft modelling. I used to sculpt and produce figures, mostly Native Americans. In front of a LSP. Rivet counters would have a field day with this exhibit. With my other toys Cheers, Quang MikeMaben, holzemjo, Iain and 9 others

Would certainly be interesting to see some of your Native American figures Quang if you ever have the inclination to share some. I can see there being worlds of opportunity for colorful and mesmerizing Native American figures . BiggTim

quang
Marus, thank you for your kind words. I'm not worthy. Really. As for the other photos of my figures, I could direct you to our website if only it's was still online. On the other hand, you can find some of them on Google Images. Type 'PiLiPiLi Miniatures'. Here's another one, more in accord with the contents of this forum. Hi Ron! Cheers, Quang

Out2gtcha
Which black powder figure, Brian? Isn't that a black powder rifle the Chiricahua Apache is holding in that third pic?
quang
Brian, if my memory serves me well, the Apache is carrying a Springfield rifled musket of Civil War vintage. Out2gtcha
LSP_K2
Brian, if my memory serves me well, the Apache is carrying a Springfield rifled musket of Civil War vintage. My brother had a .45-70 trapdoor Springfield, and it was quite the cannon, if I recall correctly. quang
quang
The trap-door Springfield came much later. It was used by the US Army during the Indian Wars of 1870 in the Black Hills. It initially used copper cartridges which had the tendency to expand upon discharge and jam the breech. Some blamed the weapon for Custer's defeat at Little Big Horn. One of the numerous myths surrounding the iconic battle. LSP_K2
