Joel_W
The fuselage really looks incredible in your jig. Looking forward to seeing how you work your magic with that fuselage section. Joel 109
Iain
Another build that makes me want to give up and take up knitting instead! Seriously - superb craftsmanship... Iain Joel_W and Derek B

109
Hi, I finished the jig for the cockpit area and marked all important frames and centerlines. I also cut templates of the frames from MDF: I started to create the first part, e.g. the roof of the luggage compartment from frame 8 to 6 with the large hatch between frame 6 and frame 7: HerculesPA_2, Shawn M, Greg W and 4 others

Butsch
An absolutely perfect work. Here I like to look and learn. However, I have two questions:How thick is the aluminum? What do you stick with aluminum? For my models I always take aluminum foil, see here: http://www.largescaleplanes.com/articles/article.php?aid=2418 http://www.largescaleplanes.com/articles/article.php?aid=2825 Please excuse my bad English. 109
Hi, I orked on the roof panel of the luggage compartment. First, I made a jig or former. Note how misleading the 3D-drawing is with regards to proportions. I partially annealed the lithoplate and formed it over the jig, re-annealing it four times. It just took 2 attemps. I am happy with my first part of this kind :-) Some details are still missing... Butsch Hi, awesome models!! Lithoplate is 0.15 mm of thickness. I use thin contact glue: UHU KRAFTKLEBER Flüssig (liquid).
