109
Hi all, I am doing the armor behind the pilot´s seat: This is the config of the A-8 and therefore I think for early D-9, too. Is this correct? Also: the green lower plate: is this the correct orientation or do I have to rotate it by 180° counter clockwise? I have the spare part list of the A-8 and D-9 and a photo of a restored A-8 that shows this plate in both orientations ... either the spare part list is wrong or the restoration work .... TIA :-) Anthony in NZ, Trak-Tor, Antonio Argudo and 2 others

109
Hi, some progress... I made a jig for mounting the seat rails from MDF and a styrene strip that slides into the C-profile: Dry fitting of parts is actually quite okay.... I cut paper templates of the armor plates to get the diminsions right ... I then cut the plates from 0.5 mm alu sheet, the alu is quite soft which makes it tricky to cut and drill. Parts need to be polished and cleaned... dryfitting: Time to make the Käsespätzle for tonights dinner.....
