X15
Can you explain how you did the exhausts? They don't look like the kit ones. Hello Normco I scratch built the exhaust as explained Kevin A drawing is better than words, thanks Kevin !! But instead of use the rocket motor kit, i juste build a small piece of styrene as support and do exactly the step 7. KiwiZac
This is one of my favourite WIPs, possibly because of the subject's historic significance. Thanks heaps for sharing. I need to find one of these. Lothar
X15
Hello all ! Thanks Danny and KiwiZac for your kinds comments !!! Following the X1 with sanding with 8000 polish and water to bring out the rivets and a juice with oil, then 2 layers of white paint. But it's not over for painting it will take at least 2 layers I think. I also started masks from decals of the box. Hello Eric, hello Alan, thank you very much !! I totally agree with you, it's not finish yet with the white paint. I pass a layer of paint today and i think i need one more layer, i used a very diluted paint and i go very slowly with sanding beetween each layers X15 Edited November 5, 2016 by X15 tomv87, florin13, Shawn M and 1 other
