Still going the extra mile.  It's nice to see.

You cut out the sail indent?

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Mark

I'm working on installing some light into the fuselage, the cutout is for some of the wires...

Heck Kent, impressive plumbing in 1/32nd!

Are you by chance a brain surgeon in real life?

Lovely work

;-)

I have been waiting for this moment for a very long time - Constructing the characteristic PBY work platform...

I began by making a mold of one of the walkways from the kit and casting some extra pieces for the work platforms.

I don't think they were any 'one' color, so I decided on a neutral Navy grey

That is truely stunning Kent. Are you putting lights in it to show off all your work, or will the cutaway sections provide enough?

Kent, basic LED lighting is really easy. First you need to decide on how many LED's you want to run. You'll need to decide on your battery source and I would suggest you run a few pots, or

Potentiometers as they are called so you can regulate the brightness in each section of the aircraft. Depending on your voltage and LED's you'll need resistors so you don't burn out the LED's. There's probably someone here that has a lot more experience than me but happy to help you out as I have used LED's for a few SciFi models before.

So, I have been working on getting some interior lighting installed.

As I've already mentioned, I'm a complete dummy when it comes to the electrical department.

But I found some prefabricated sets on E-bay and I'm truly happy with the result...
