Scale32Nut
I got it figured out, very easy once you read the instructions, but then this is LSP, who around here reads instructions! I hope this help The kit is flash free, there are no sink marks that I found, I have the Tamiya Corsair and the Hasegawa panel lines are every bit as fine as the Tamiya kit. My camera memory is full so I could't get pictures of the clear parts but they also look very acceptable. Hope this was usefull I was able to get this for less than 50 bucks including shipping on ebay! thierry laurent
Thanks for the pictures! The kit looks exquisite but I would like Hasegawa as other plane kit producers understanding that control surfaces are separate parts on the actual plane! If they are in a neutral position when the plane is parked, I have no problem if they do not make them separate on the kit. However, I would like to have deeper lines between them and the wings or stabs as they should not look like panel lines! This does not only apply to the front edge but to the side ones as well. I do not know why but it seems most kit companies that do not make them as separate parts seems to have this problem and improving them with a razor saw takes time and a very steady hand... Similarly, why not opening completely the gun chute holes...? To me, this is plain stupid as one of the main advantadges of the Hasegawa kits is the rather low number of parts and lack of complicated assembly. So, if I have to allocate some hours to solve such frustrating basic problems, I loss the main positive aspect of the build: saving time! I guess many people are not going to be bothered by such things but unfortunately some will be! Too bad as the kit looks very nice.
