1/32 Hasegawa KI-84 Hayate "Frank" *updated pics*

Fells,

Just rolling off the bench is the amazing Hasegawa 32 scale kit.  Big Ed set from Eduard was used as well as Montex masks.  Not one drop of putty was used anywhere.  A really good kit.  Anyway on to the pics:

very nice! Chipping done by hand or fluid?

 

It was a little of both.  I sprayed mr color fine silver over the airframe and and then used maskol to do some chipping.  Then I used a silver pencil to add some finer chips and blend a few areas in.

Built the same kit in the same markings some years ago and I completely agree.

 

Out of the box it is one of the very best kits out there.

Like Bill, I hope Hasegawa put out more home-grown props.
