Iain
Quick Shine is a US product that is imported into the UK by Lakeland - can't vouch for other countries though. I bottle is quite expensive - but lasts for years. Goes straight into the airbrush and sprays beautifully. Iain Kagemusha and Uncarina

Iain
I think 'beautiful' may be pushing it a bit Alan! The Do335 is ugly as sin to my eyes - perhaps that's what makes it an appealing subject? Iain Bill_S

My last bottle of Klear, despite being hidden in a dark corner is starting to go yellow, more annoying is its nearly full too! Out2gtcha
Iain
Don't know - not tried it Ade - I just polish mine... Iain Out2gtcha
Out2gtcha
Wow, fabulous paint work Iain! Id be curious too, as to how it works on canopies as well. I've got a really good polishing system, that works really well, and can bring the sheen of the parts up to Future standards, but my preferred method of attaching canopies and windscreens is letting capillary action wick thin CA around the bottom. This works extremely well, but as normal, if not protected by a clear the fumes do attack the clear parts, otherwise I would be a "polish only" guy myself. CATCplSlade
Like a chrysalis emerging from a cocoon... Er, um, those are essentially the same thing except one is for butterflies and the other for moths. So, basically, you just said "Like a bag emerging from a sack." Plane looks great, though. Iain
Indeed - I kinda knew what I wanted to say - it's too ugly to be a butterfly - or a moth It's still a bag Iain Uncarina
Iain
Airframe weathering and exhaust staining done. Undercarriage and nose doors affixed. Props weathered. Should be ready for matt varnish in the morning and final twiddly bits. Iain
Iain
Some final tweaks/touch-ups/weathering - then she'll be in RFI (probably tomorrow).
