aircommando130
I think they have black cockpits so there's no glare when using NVG'S to fly. The MC-130's I flew in were black inside or really dark gray to reduce glare with NVG's. Great Job so far! Awesome airplane for the IDF. Babs
Looking good Babs. That satellite antenna hump looks well shaped. Although as far as the real thing goes, it looks a bit 'over the top' compared to most other countries' mini GPS receivers. Though bear in mind my comment is in 100% ignorance of its actual utility. Also of interest is that the IDFAF has reverted to all-black '50's era cockpit colouring in its leading attack jet, in the face of decades of ergonomic research. Hello Chek. The black color in the cockpit is not a step back but an adaptation for the NVG (night vision goggles), as noted Aircommando 130. The big antenna communication SATCOM are for long range strike operation over 1500 km, Thank you for your interest. Babs.

Babs
Hello, Marus 137 & Starfighter thank you. A little up with the nose gear, i wanted a little to detail what will see when the gear is in place. Plastic sheet, rods and wire are necessary to complete the metal part. The wheel are from Northstarmodels, very fine molding,it seems that it is too large, 1 mm more than the kit. Not very severe especially since it gives a better appearance on the landing gear than that of the kit. Babs. Chek
That certainly looks a lot better than the supplied wheel Babs. Not so much of a gap. On another thread, another forum, a Beagle ground crewman related that those protruding shimmy dampers were fitted at base level. Hence those shiny bright Jubilee clips clamping it to the fork. Babs
Up, A few molded plastic grids are replaced by metal. Topside: Underside: Idem, the JFS louvers are removed and a tube represents the exhaust. Some panels and access doors are different and a different place, corrected. The vents near the gun door are from Eduard, the location of the chaff & flare dispenser are emptied and expanded to make place the flare box faces in resin. The gun inspection door on the right CFT are open, some details inside. Babs. F`s are my favs, A-10LOADER, Starfighter and 1 other

Babs
Hello, A small update. The fuselage and wings are assembled, precautions have been to avoid the step at the connection wings. An small acces panel on the right CFT are open and interior detailled, the acces for gun inspection are also completed. A small GPS antenna is added near the airbrake, fuselage and wings is currently being engraved and riveted, I think it will give the best effects when weathering. Voila.. F`s are my favs
Very nice progress! Just a suggestion - yet check out the reff. photos cause i don`t know if it is that way in the I version, but the seamlines on the CFTs should be quite less visible or perhaps not visible at all. I filled them with surf1200 completely. Edited August 14, 2016 by F`s are my favs
