Harold
"C" nose on the right, "A/B" nose on the left. I just started carving about half an hour ago. I don't know if there is much interest, but since I did the intakes for the "C", I might as well do the "A/B" nose as well. Kagemusha
Wonderful, a dream come true as I need one for an A-4SU I want to build, here's a couple of photos which might help - the nose certainly seems to have a flattened undersides, just aft of the black section. Harold
It surely does look flatish on the bottom.

Harold
I have the bottom a bit flat, but not as much as the photos. I can make it a bit more flat, but I have to be careful or it won't conform to the kit fuselage. Kagemusha
ziggyfoos
I'm not seeing any flatness on original USN ones http://www.clubhyper.com/reference/images/A4D-refueling-probe.JPG http://www.clubhyper.com/reference/images/A4D-front-landing-gear-1.JPG https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3b/A4D-2_Skyhawk_of_VA-81_on_catapult_of_USS_Forrestal_%28CVA-59%29_in_1962.jpg Harold

Kagemusha
I'd go with the Navy version, bit of putty and a file, I'll be fine. Zero77 and Harold

What can i say I like the old hasegawa kit. A-4D? I didn't think there was a D? Thought the "D" variant was skipped since the Skyhawk was originally designated A4D (so went A-4C to A-4E)?
