Looks good so far!

Painting the  plane overall white might not be such a good idea.

I gave a coat of satin white yesterday and the Revell Plasto I used to fill the gabs still shows through.

Adding more coats won't help .There will still be a colour differance.

Will have to come up with a different paintsheme. Could even be a "Luft '46"

Every try maybe a white primer out of the rattle can?  The Tamiya primer I use always does a wonderful job of covering up such color differences, and you would not have to shoot much actual white color on it to get good saturation as well.

Yeah, go the primer out of a rattle can, Erwin. Either of the Mr. Surfacer or Tamiya ranges will give you a great result, and things will go much easier after that.

I Know you brush paint (and you do a great job of it) but if you spray prime, why don't you spray the white, too? Seeing how it's one color, should be super easy using Tamiya tins or the tin of your choice.

Are UN planes painted matt, satin or gloss white ?

Some of the military helicopters look matt, while the airliners look glossy. From experience, matt white is easier to paint.
