Thanks for sharing this excellent news Kev. Glad to hear that Robin is getting back in business.

Coincidentally I just found my air cadet log book and now have the serials for a couple of subjects of this kit.

Look forward to more news and following your build of the original.

Cheers.

I'd like a few of these to build for friends - I seem to be spending a lot of time with Chipmunks these days!

Some images I took at the beginning of June at the BullChip Meet (Bulldogs and Chipmunks), Abbevlle, France. 20 ship formation - 19 Chipmunks, one Bulldog (us).

With apologies in advance to anyone that's already seen these on Facebook.

Wow, If the price is even remotely decent Id take one. Im not as big of a Munk fans as evident in this thread,  but there are just so many cool schemes, and lest face it, its just a neat little bird.

The Chippie has been called "The poor man's Spitfire".

Good news about Robin.  I'd like one of these, a good few flying hours with 5 AEF in the 1970s should be enough to overcome my usual avoidance of resin kits.

Hi Iain - Unfortunately not! The Chipmunk in the photos is very nicely painted as WP 964 as she was when painted in Army  colours. The real WP 964 is in South Africa as ZU-DXO - which begs the question as to what paint scheme she should wear!
