pg265
Hi, Thank you Mates! The burnishing process is very easy! You just have to use a burnishing agent like the ones from Uschi Van der Rosten, Master Product or Blacken'it... In this case a white metal burnishing agent was used. Small progress on the dash board. Stainless steel pop rivets cut and installed. A little square bracket is fastened to the right side in order to hold the accelerator cable. C'est tout. Dashboard is finished and instruments are installed: Accelerator OK: I've tried to do the stitching by myself instead of applying decals: Pascal LSP_Paul

Bryan
Pascal, Hope this isn't too off-topic... I know you are a fan of the Gravity Paints. I am trying it on my current kit. Seems good but I find the primer dries WAY too fast....so fast that it is hard to get a smooth finish....it wants to go on grainy. Do you have this problem, and if so how do you deal with it? Fantastic work again BTW.
pg265
Hi, Thanks Mates! The primer is very thin and dries quickly, but if it dries before reaching the part surface, you should have a too high pressure... I use it with 0.15, 0.3 and 0.5 with pressure between 1.8 and 2 Kg... and even with a paint brush. The finish is always very smooth. Time for the clear coat: Modification for the wing support: Shoulder straps done too: More soon. Pascal LSP_Paul and ShelbyGT500

ClumsyDude
Wow Pascal, that's super. What are those belts made from? They look (as everything else does) like the real thing! Jim
LSP_Paul
Simply Outstanding. The farther you go on this the more all of your hard prep work and extra detailing shows off, in the finish for example..meticulous. Paul
