Max, many a lady during WWII put a lot of hard work doing their bit but oftentimes they are forgotten..MY Aunt M did her bit too making ammo .. while her husband was stationed in North Africa as A LAC ..(he worked on Lancs,Spitfires and many other iconic aircrafts) I applaud your mum and all the the other ladies for their hard and sonetimes strenuous work..
