Wegener
Wow, good stuff. I imagine that putting that lot in the airframe would stiffen it up quite a bit to compensate for all the bits being chopped out. I've dabbled a bit in drawing stuff with straight lines and curves in CAD but the sort of organic compound curves inherent in aircraft are way beyond my current capabilities, quite apart from being very hard to measure if you don't happen to have a set of loft drawings for one. Keep up the good work. Shaka HI

wunwinglow
Thanks guys! I have just got home with what I hope is the final shapes for the centre section plug. I will put some primer on the parts as the plastic from our printer is translucent white and impossible to photograph!

wunwinglow
Getting close with the major parts, the main spar replacement stiffens the whole assembly up really nicely. I still have some tweaks to do on the rear plug just to get a secure fit, and then I can add some frames to locate the belly plate to the kit cockpit, just to keep that in place. Anyway, here's where we are now, johncrow, Daniel Leduc, Shaka HI and 5 others
Dog1
My absolutely favorite version of this aircraft and this looks like its going to be a stunner. Always hoped someone would produce a descent conversion for the Revell kit.... but to-date... no joy. Will be following your build with great interest Daniel Leduc
