The period with the red surround can be painted on. IIRC the more "complicated" or specialized makings are for the special "vanity of rank" aircraft assigned to the brass. These have interesting color schemes for the variants with wheels. I am waiting with great excitement for this kit. I preordered two so I hope that it is a kit with very few vices.
