Uncarina
Andy, What an impressive model and subject choice! That camo is striking. I found a color photo of the landing gear on page 73 of the Vasco and Estanislau book. Having written that, it is a minor, hard to see detail! Cheers, Tom mywifehatesmodels

mozart
A lovely build John, the small details make all the difference, like the insulators on the aerial wire (how did you do those?). Max mywifehatesmodels
LSP_Ron
You nailed that one. Very nicely done. mywifehatesmodels
mywifehatesmodels
Thanks for all the kind words, guys. Max, The cones on the antenna line were made by heating plastic (I used a coffee can lid for this one) then pushing a sharp, round tool through them. I have a couple of these poker type tools, similar to a dental tool, which I used. Poke a bunch of cones into the hot plastic then cut them out. The front one looks much better than the rear on this one, but by the time I got to that one, I had already lost/ destroyed at least four of them, so my patience was wearing thin. Edit: I got the cone trick from either Ralph or Doug. I don't remember which, but it wasn't my idea alone. Thanks again! Uncarina
John, You are SO making me itch to finish mine! That is the essence of an inspirational build. Thanks for sharing yours! Cheers, Tom mywifehatesmodels
mywifehatesmodels
Tom, I'm itching to see yours, too! If this build pushed you to do it, then all the better. I think you'll like the kit. Thanks! I got out this morning, in between rain showers and high wind, to get some outdoor photos. I've posted the RFI thread, here: http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=59573 Thanks again for everything, you guys. I couldn't have done it without all of you! Sincerely, John Uncarina
