Thanks Ernst. I'm thinking the neighbors cat that craps in our yard  is going to like me even less now

That's a big sucker. Nice one Paul, now I'm having similar problem with neighbors kitty. Let me know how this works out or you, and if it solves that problem then I'll get something similar ;)

Update and progress!  I cleaned off the bench and got to it. The steps 1-4 of the instructions deal with assembly of the lower suspension parts, brackets, track tensioners and a million tiny screws etc. and finally the suspension arms themselves. This is the progress so far. More of an erector set then a tank at the moment but the fun stuff is coming up soon. More pics when I have it all primed and  wheels on.

Hey Paul that armor looks nice :hmmm:   can it take a 22 round :fight:    :coolio:     Just kidding

Looking nice.   Good start.    Does someone make the IR ( Infared Scopes ) conversion in this scale?  Love to do a night fighting Panther.

Cheers

Well Progress has been slow. I managed to get a nice Sinus cold and it's had me away from the bench and in bed.  I did however take the time laying around to get the tires cut out and installed on the wheels temporarily.

Here the panzer kommandant looks over the construction area and wonders when he will be able to take the tank into battle.

Here is a picture of two of my large scale projects I'm working on, the Tamiya G as well as a static model from Trumpeter of the mIghty Konigstiger

I ordered the roller bearings I needed yesterday, so I will hopefully make more progress on the wheels and lower hull soon.

Thank you for looking in on my build,

Paul
