Urs
Update of my cockpit built. Its close to be complete. Today l lost a part of my HGW seatbelt so l had to order a replacement. This time the RB seatbelt. Colors are Tamy and washes l used the MiG brown and dark one. That prominent brass knob of the Spitfire variants up to IX you can see neath the dashpanel l made of real brass. LSP_Kevin
Wow, Urs - that is some really fine work! Those exhausts are among the most realistic I've ever seen. Can you tell us your secret recipe? Kev Urs

Urs
@Kevin I started with Tamiya Black as base, follow by a dust of ALCLAD burnt iron. Then used some MiG Rust Pigment at the exhaust mainfold side and MiG Black Pigment and the exhaust oulet. After I carefully drybrushed and highlighted the exhaust welding seam and Fishtail with Testor silver .

Urs
Had recently a blues wirh the Spit and switched partly builting the Tam Mossie - yesterday l spent some hours again on the ZX+6. Washed and oiled on some spots. I don't like enlarged areas of chipped surfaces so my Spit only show some on the wing root and leading edges. That night the wngine and fuselage married together and its looks now. Except of the kill markings everthing is airbrushed. Chek
I've just caught up with this thread. Great interior Urs, and l Iove the exposed steel on the engine. It'll look superb when mated to the airframe.
