alain11
Hi here is my Academy F 18A : built OOB , I only added a resin seat . I back dated the Academy kit by removing some antennas on top of the vertical fins . I think there are other little stuffs that make the difference, but ....too bad if I missed them .....this kit is really worth it , details are there, and are enough good for me : wheel bays are "busy" , full of wires , pipes etc , the cockpit has a simple arrangement as on the real , the main landing gears are complex , and full of details ( connecting rods etc....) , only wires and cables must be added .Of course , one can go further onto "sharp" details, and resin parts are your friends .Only a nice paint job is enough to get something fine ( I hope I managed with this part) .decals are from "two bobs" .Pictures. enjoy .........or not Alain mywifehatesmodels, Vandy 1 VX 4, Bill Cross and 7 others

allthumbs
Top-notch work Alain. The paint finish is very realistic...I like the semi-matte sheen and restrained weathering. Congratulations! Rich
