I remember starting the kit but wasn't sure as to my progress or why I hadn't competed it. Upon opening the box, here's what I found: Basically, it needed a quick sanding, coat of paint and final assembly. So, 10 minutes with a sanding stick and a quick spray of XF-49 khaki and it was done. I wonder how many more kits I have like this in the stash that are just a couple steps from being completed. I have a slew of the new Bandai SW kits coming.......not really ever been into sci-fi but h this one is cool, and hope I can do my Sci-fi kits justice. Kev, this film has the Patlabors getting reactive armour and revolves around a possible military coup in Japan. There's also a great looking F-15 variant with canards and vectored thrust burner cans that would be a great project. Going through the stash, I've found a couple more kits that are nearly finished: Gunhed which I did a WIP on here and Metal Gear Rex so I think that those two will be next.
