Dave J
So I have been very quite lately... Lack of modelling mojo really hasn't helped! But finishing this has! Wingnut Wings latest kit, The Post War Bristol Figther... I used a mixture of Tamiya, Mr Color and Vallejo paints. Wood Grain was done using AK Interactive products. For rigging, I used EZ Line and the RAF Thread that you can get off Wingnut Wings. Scheme is of the New Zealand Permanent Air Force during the 1930's. tucohoward, Kagemusha, Iain and 11 others

DeanKB
Looks superb, as always. I still think the Bristol is WNW's best kit. Only shock is that NZ were still using the Bristol into the 30's?!

LDSmodeller
Dave, Very very nice One aircraft I need have to get for my collection, especially with NZPAF markings Looks superb, as always. I still think the Bristol is WNW's best kit. Only shock is that NZ were still using the Bristol into the 30's?! Hi Dean, Only 1 was really in use, flying wise mid 1930's (NZ7121), and it had been received 1927 from Britain. It crashed at lake Ellismere 1936. Of the 7 aircraft received, one crashed in March 1926, one other crashed/repaired and scrapped circa1930/31 The rest had been converted into instructional frames at TTS (Technical Training School) Wigram mid 1930's, and thought to be burnt at start of WWII. Jack
Dave i have no "connection" with WW1 items, being it armor or aircraft, and especially building (and rigging.......) biplanes is not my cup of tea......BUT i can appreciate a perfect model when looking at it, and yours is certainly worth while. Very nice build, congrats! Jack.
andromeda673
you bi-plane guys are something of a very unique breed, I'd give up the hobby trying to do all of that rigging. Nice job!!!! Well done Zero77
