Looking great Mark!! Can't wait to see her done!

Cheers

Alan

Thanks Alan

But still a lot to do before the first paint go on.

More work to do on the pit a few antennas and so on.

Awesome work so far Mark.  Sorry you have to take a break from this build, but I'm sure you'll be able to finish it off when you get back.  SEA camo on a Phantom just looks right, it fits the airframe perfectly

Thanks Matt

Work is at the first place.

Iff everyting is going like pland im back at home just before christmas.

And yes the sea camo is great on the F-4 but the top one is the euro one camo

No need to get confused. The F-4C panel was different from the F-4D panel. Please google to see the differences. The most evident ones were the radar display and the pedestal panel.

As far as I can see, the conversion kit provided a standard F-4D FWD cockpit instrument panel while I am not sure for the AFT cockpit panel. I had a photo of the F-4C WW AFT cockpit but could not find it now. Nevertheless, it looks like the AFT panel given in the conversion kit was neither a standard F-4C nor F-4D panel. So it can be a WW panel. Melampy's book may have some detail photos of the F-4C WW cockpits.

Hope this helps.

Batur

Slightly OT as it doesn't apply to the EF-4C changes, but I think this is what Batur is referring to with regard to a standard F-4C (before all of the RHAW & ECM gear & such was added):

Typical F-4C front cockpit which Tamiya got wrong (there's is a more of a D set up).  f-4c_cockpit_front_instrument_panel_zps5
