Bf-109K-14 - or else :)

My doctor said it's OK. :)

There is a huge stash of variety of Hasegawa and Revell based parts for 109 in my closet and I had no idea how to use them, until now :)

A classic paper project, the K-14, intended as high-altitude (12km) heavy fighter with four bladed propeller and triple Mk-108 Motorcanone installation.

This machine was supposed to be powered by L version of the iconic DB power plant with assistance of a rather large two-stage supercharger.

No pictures, just my imagination and available photos of late K models from Erla factory will lead me thru this journey.

The base of the kit will be Revell's G10 Erla, I understand that Erla factory was always the first to implement innovative approach in 109 production and recently surfaced pics. of late K series can prove that it's streamlined fuselage would be the way to go,,,or else :)

So there is no box picture just a parts as I go.I hope that that is OK

Enjoy the ride guys :)

As I said the charger was huge, so the puny intake would not work, so I applied a bit of imagination, hopefully not too much

Cheers

The russian space dog is named Dimitri, and he says spasibo, comrade. He likes treats, ducks, and used tires.

Some pictures from ERLA backyard showing K- fuselages ready to be assembled. Kinda gives me that idea of blotchy lego-like, silver bird finish.

Ahh love that Erla canopy...

Very sleek indeed. It would be so sweet to put a buble top on 109 slender fuse
