Jer
Made a start on the GT Resin exhausts. First off I shortened the push rods. URL=http://s1380.photobucket.com/user/Mungo/media/F15C%201-32/image.jpg1_zpsncxgkbi0.jpg.html][/url] Then I shaped each cut end to fit..... Then I repeated multiple times.... Just got to do the other one now! ghatherly

Scotsman
Jer - beautiful work on the Eagle , If I'd have been more awake , I'd have mentioned that the best way to avoid that awful wing to fuselage step is to attach the upper wing to the upper fuselage first get it sitting correctly that attach the lower fuselage section , and then the lower wings - no filling ... Having built 4 of these beasts I got tired of fixing that step! I look forward to the rest of the build, keep up the excellent work ColinR Jer

ClumsyDude
Wow, Jer, that looks really terrific. The exhausts look crisp and precise, keen to see how you finish them as managing a convincing finish on jet exhausts is always an interesting project. Jer
Here are the exhaust nozzles painted up. Think I may add more white to represent the White ceramic finish better. I'll grub them up later to make them look more realistic (I hope). Here's the bird pre shaded, I have the tendency to paint heavy so most of the will disappear!!! Unfortunately I had masked the Alclad spray job I did before taking the photos!!!!.....but it came up ok so for the moment you'll have to take my word for it!! Starting to prep camo mask prior to spraying. AIM-9X's etc pre-shaded too.... Hoping to dip her in paint over the weekend..... Forgot to paint fuel tank and central pylon after cleaning air gun!! Oh well I need to complete the first part as I had the intake up and forgot painting them when they're down hence the tape markers!
