Hi guy's,

after a short break, i wanna tackle my second WNW kit.

A few months ago, i had the change to buy a WNW RE.8 "Harry Tate" (one of my favourite aircraft),Thank's to Grant Lovett from Arrow & Wolf.

So after a little doubt, wich kit i wanted to start (Albatross D.Va or the RE.8) my choise feld on the Harry Tate.

Yesterday, these extra goodies where deliverd:

The complete HGW "Harry Tate" PE and decal set, and flat rigging wire.

The reference i will use are the photo's from the WNW website.

So, i think everthing is ready to start, here's the complete kit and the extra aftermarket goodie's.

I have just a little question for you guy's  :please:

Is there anybody who have good detail photo's of the RAF4a V12 engine??

Stay tuned for upcoming photo's of the build.

I'm putting the finishing touches on mine right now, and it's a gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous kit.

The only think that you really need to be careful on is the engine bearers. They are extremely fragile and weak without the engine in place.

Also, if you use oil paint to do your woodgraining, be very careful not to build up the thickness. Those cowlings will NOT fit around the engine bearers and engine if you do.

I had to hack away at the front of mine because they weren't even close, although it may have been builder induced error, because I did manage to knock them off once or twice during the several months on the bench.

No matter though, because with the cowls on, it looks perfect!

Good luck, and I'm looking forward to follow along with your build.

Today i started the build of the "Harry tate", so photo's will follow real soon guy's.

I also have looked after some nice figures to give the "Harry tate" a dynamic scene.

 Hi Guy's,

i have a small progress to show you guy's.

I did some work on the RAF 4a engine, still very basic, but that will change, as i want to add some extra detail regarding the ignition cables.

Engine was painted with Alclad and Tamiya paint's.

previous, i mentioned that i will use two figures from Kellerkind Miniatures.

These figures are real nice, very crisp and sharp details, and there pose is really intresting.

I took some detail pictures, and here they are :
