Due the limited space in my showcase left to build models in 1/32 despite having 4 or 5 models, new, and sealed inside the boxes. I resolve to build a model for a friend of mine while participating in a GB.

The model is the P-40 from Hasegawa in 1/32 scale.

Versions of the model. If I can get other decals will make a different version. These decals do not like me much.

I'm trying to get a new sheet of decals  :help: .

I started building the model preparing parts of the interior and the landing gear wells for the painting.

I glued both sides of the fuselage. Some work with the mass of vidraceira, much sandpaper. Now redo the lines of panels and rivets.

I can definitely speak for the quality of the Montex masks for the P-40. The flexible mask material Montex uses, is also re-usable (on the same aircraft depending on how careful you are when handling them) Well made product, and  I can attest they work well even over foil.
