A fair whack of my final book order arrived today with a surprise ...

I rang Booktopia the day after the mysterious "lost" parcel from Amazon arrived ... and I cancelled the 2 books on the B.25 and on the Bf.110, Me.210 and 410

 

I was given a PayPal refund ...

 

Heres todays deliveries ...

... That IS just a normal purchase ;) ... some nice variety in that lot though ... b

I've been thinking about some of those Hasegawa Japanese kits lately ...

Not really LSP fare, but after injuring myself a couple of weeks ago, my roommate went out and snatched this for me, to help cheer me up, and it certainly did just that, so I thought I'd share. I've been a big fan of old school muscle cars as far back as the late 60's, so this really was more than appropriate for me.

While I had one of the kits already, this is unfortunately as far as I ever got with it. I hope to finish it this winter sometime though.

I think it's actually Testors Star Spangled Blue metallic, if I remember correctly. While I'm still a complete novice at using lacquers, they certainly can work out real good, if you're willing to take the time. I'm hoping for much better finishes than this on my model cars in the future, as I learn more about applying them and whatnot.
