Nice Alain. You're giving Danny some competion

You can say that at least, the Gueneau 316 is my all time favorite, and it's a shame i still don't have one in my collection. :hmmm:

great stuff Danny !!!! If I am right this a 1995 parution , but it remain the best publication about flight helmets

Alain

1996 to be precisely Alain, there are errors publicated into the book, but there's a correction list you can print out. Still it's a wanna have when collecting flight helmets.

hi

you can find from time to time Gueneau 316 on E bay , often from German air force , or ex Yugoslavia air force , there are minor changes from French helmets ..as the G 316 has been withdrawn years ago, they aren't often in good condition.. be careful ,.....one can easily  get ripped off

On Facebook i am member of a group called Flight gear Collectors and Collections. There we keep each other posted of flight gear that's on Ebay or other media. From time to time a nice 316 appears but price and state are often not what it should be. That said, there's enough to look out for.

Me too, Kevin.  Like the Catalina, another long-term project.  I've contacted Mike Grant to find out if I can get a 1/32nd scale one-off of his Thunderbird decal.  If not I'll have to cut and paste.  There's also Nine O Nine and Texas Raiders.

Sincerely,

Mark

I scored two HK B-25J Strafer's off the internet today for $136.00 AUD each with free shipping. That's about $100 USD! What a bargain! They retail for about $260AUD.
