BloorwestSiR
I forgot to post pics of the finished display case. With the doors on: This is the first time I've had all my finished Tamiya Spitfires in one spot. I swung by my LHS today and picked up some new armour kits. I built the Tamiya one years ago but on first glance, the Rye Field kit has finer details. There isn't quite a full crew interior but again, what's there is more detailed than the Tamiya kit. Tracks are working Indy link. LSP_K2

Starting fairly soon, I'll be trying to partially rebuild my armor stash, and want, naturally enough, to get the best kits currently available. LSP_Mike
How does the RFM kit compare to the AFV Club kit? BTW, the old italeri kit had a partial interior, and link tracks. BloorwestSiR and LSP_K2
BloorwestSiR
The closet I come with AFV Club is their late Tiger. That went together ok. Rubber band tracks in the box so I subbed in some metal ones from Kariya. LSP_K2

I was a little less than impressed with a Flory review of the RFM Sturmtiger, wherein he referred to the cast texture of the hull sections. LSP_K2
Yet another to check off of my wants list, is this old (quite old) Squadron/Signal volume. Printed in 1981, it's actually quite dated, but still beefs up my SS collection nicely, so I'm a happy guy. I'll have to pull the kit and check, as I'll be using cobbled together AM decals for this baby, so didn't even look at the kit decals.
thierry laurent
The funny part is the fact I didn't know this boxing whereas this scheme is amongst the ones I proposed for the Zotz TA-4J decal set! LSP_K2
LSP_K2
Well that was certainly easy enough, there were no decals included, and seller made me aware of that fact before the deal went through, as I just verified by the extensive PMs between us.
