I suppose watching all these Skyraider photos on the web made me decide I had to give a go at this beautiful vietnam USAF paint scheme...

Tie madness!

Imperial, Interceptor & Striker........

I'm not normally a 72nd guy, but I enjoyed the superior fit and quality of the Bandai trooper & speeder I finished, that I wanted to work on some other Bandai new gen kits to go with my eventual Bandai 72nd Millennium Falcon.

Nice set of ties. If you want to add a bit to them, check out Green Strawberry. They have masking sets and PE details.

If you're interested in the PG Falcon, I've got an extra one in the stash.

Edit: I forgot, you're missing Darth's Tie Advance.

I picked up some GS masks for a B-wing and they are great!

Yes, they were out of the advanced-1, so I'll pick that up at first opportunity...

Continuing on with my collection of (and obsession for) WWII German U-Boats, I’ve now added volume 14 of the U-Boot im Focus series to the old book stash. Oddly, I had mistakenly believed that these newer volumes were not out yet, as I’ve been looking (not too thoroughly, apparently) for them for a couple of months now. Volume 15 will also be winging its way to me, probably sometime next month.

Saved my money :coolio: and visited the Eurofighter at the Luftwaffengeschwader in Laage/Germany.

Also got free breakfast and free lunch, a 90-minutes long briefing by the Commodore and a walk-around guidet by a technical officer. Also some coverings got removed and the gunbay opened, while other Eurofighters were taxiing around the shelter. Yep, we got permission for some photos inside the shelter  Finally we watched from 50 metres away the pre-flight check and leaving of the shelter of another Eurofighter.

Was a nice day, indeed :punk:
