Make the others jealous

Finally it hit the German modelling stores:

You know this one, no further introduction required.

Also grabbed some brass from a sale:

Last but not least I crashed my modelling budget by ordering a dwarf from Russia. Well, he is 90 millimetres tall and comes with an engraved styrene socket, a large resin base and some kind of dog as companion...  :ninja:

I bought my first Corsair kit ever from my LHS. A Tamiya kit of course. Great price. I have been collecting decals with intent since last year. Watching John's builds and then a great set of decals from Jennings put me over the top.

I managed to nab:

-Revell Ar 196A-3;

-Eduard Ar 196A-3 Big-Ed set;

-Alleycat Amended Ar 196A-3 Canopy & Masks;

-Master Ar 196A-3 Armament Set;

-Quickboost Ar 196A-3 Replacement Exhaust;

-HGW Ar 196A-3 Seat, Seatbelts & Map set.

For £55.

Which seems an unfeasibly low price for a pretty cool OOP kit with a lot of extra AM?

T'was on EBay for £60 "Buy it Now".

I offered £55, expecting to have to pay the £60, but it was accepted.

I can only assume the seller failed to do his research? I'd have expected to spend over £100 to get that lot new, and that's before the Ar sold out.

went over to a friends last night, came home with:

A bag of hemostats (you can never have to many)

2 pair of surgical scissors (hello decal cutters)

and a NIB set of micro twist drills!

His dad is an aging modeller and it appears I reap the benefits!

Guys, you make me jealous with almost every post...
Especially in the "In the Works" section.
I had barely time to sit at my bench or behind the computer, at least, in past weeks...

A lot of work around the house, dog, family and everything....

I guess I need to change something.
I had already put up my "To Do" list, so I can get rid of things systematically.

Hope it helps.

Please, keep posting!

:popcorn:
