Two Zeros

Recommended Posts

This is the display of both the Tamiya and ICMTH 1/32 scale A6M2b "Zeros" side by side.

Hope you enjoy them.

The builds of both models can be found here on the site.

P.S.  I will be doing the Bf 109f from this same company and the companion injected molded kit from Hasegawa (Priller's aircraft), but not right away.  As much as I love these cutaways, I need a break!!

This was a great build to follow, even though skeletons usually aren't my thing. At the point of your "mishap" I was truly heartbroken. But, your persistence in putting it back together was inspiring and the final product is outstanding. I don't think I could ever do it! WAY TO GO!!!

Thanks a lot, guy.  I very much appreciate your kind comments.

The PE kits are a challenge, that's certainly true, but I don't think they are beyond the skills of anyone here on this forum.  Nevertheless, I understand that they aren't everyone's "bag".  My personal hate relationship is with scratch building so I guess we all have something about this hobby which is on our "no way" list!!!

Thanks again, and Best Regards,

I love that, both same aircraft, but so different models. The skeleton is incredible, it really makes me want to try to build one, too. (even if i'm not too much into PE).

I was not aware that they also make a 1/32 Bf109? I thought there were only the Zero and the Mustang.
