1/48 Mirage 2000C (Kinetic) - Finished

Hello!

Here are some photos of one of my latest projects.

This project was published on this month issue (July 2014) of Airfix Model World mag.

It`s the Kinetic kit, together with Syhart decals, in order to portray this specific airframe.

The wing root angle was altered in order to depict the characteristic anhedral look of the Mirage 2000 family.

I used both Lifecolor and Vallejo acrylic paints.

Here http://josepiresmodelismo.blogspot.pt/ you can find detailed pics of the construction and painting process.

My best regards!

Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Kevin, i don`t know the Monogram kit, so i do not have a comparation basis.

As for the Heller kit, the kinetic presents the modeller with crisper surface detail, better landing gear struts and a huge number of weaponry. Nevertheless, the wing to fuselage angle has to be tweaked.

The Heller kit has a decent cockpit, and a far better exhaust nozzle, and i think a correct angle on the droop of the wings.
