well I was finally able to get down to my bench and get some work done, got the rest of the engine assembled and painted, as well as finished off the piping and detal work on engine. I also got the landing gear installed.

We are due a good re invention of the mig15. Quite the worst kit I ever tried. The rear and front fuselages are different diameter. Good

Luck, and well done so far!

thank you for the heads up on that, after doing alot of research on this kit, and hear all the battles about the two halves not lining up, and or being totally different in diameter, I determined that I would just display this bad boy with the tail off and engine exposed, ladder on, flaps down, etc. Here are some more progress pictures.

made some more progress tonight, I picked up a new Passche air compressor after work, and put it right to use! the new compressor is so nice and quiet, and having the adjustable regulator really makes life easier.Tomorrow all I have to do is spray the flat coat and install the canopy, then this one will be done.

The squiggly line camo looks great!! what airbrush/paint did you use for the lines?

Don

Thanks Don, the airbrush I use is the Iawata Neo with a .35 needle, the paint I used is just Tamiya XF-61 Dark Green thinned with 70% rubbing alcohol mixed 50/50. I did the camo free hand. I think what helped is the new Paasche compressor I bought, I set the PSI to 20.

Nice Job, Dude!

Can't wait to see your third adventure

John B's  got some competition  HEH!

jack

Thanks Jack, I really appreciate it! Large Scale is pretty fun to build, I used to be intimidated by it, and or just not that interested, I think mainly due to the price of some of the kits out there, but finding some of the less expensive 1/32nd kits, made me jump into the large scale. ,
