seiran01
It's 13.5x13.5 inches (34.2x34.2cm) and under $30 here in the US. Seems a great deal, I have two on order and will share some pix when I get them! Saber
Saber
Glad that Sprue carries True Detail.....ordered 3 canopy masks from Hannants, & after the exchange rate was applied, my card was charged $110 USD.... Certainly NOT Hannants fault in any way at all, but sure was a shocker....! This looks great!....will keep an eye out on this side of the pond for it....thanks for the heads-up! Cheers, Jim
Ken Stetzenko
That looks nice! I could see a Corsair or even a nice F-86, F-80,F-84 on one of those.
phantom
Where did you find it for under $30.00 here in the US? Mike

Scotsman
13" x 13" ok for a F4u , bit of a squeeze for a P-61, unless you double it up, hmmmm there's a thought!
LSP_K2
How very interesting. Just what the doctor ordered for a nice 1:32 Pacific aircraft display. (I have several of the Eduard IM sets in 1:48, and they too are pretty spiffy.)

LSP_K2
For 1:32 scale, $30 is not bad at all. The equivalent Just Plane Stuff 1:48 base is $
Guest
That's the old Custom Dioramics base and it's really nice. $30.00 is a good price too.
dmthamade
That really looks tempting!! I've never done a diorama but this base might be a great start. What timeframe is the base good for, WWII, Korea, Vietnam? Can it be used for anything more recent? Don
seiran01
Definitely WWII pacific theater and Korean War, never have seen references to PSP being used in other theaters WWII or Vietnam war
Vandy 1 VX 4
I have seen photos of PSP Marsden Mating in Europe. Viet Nam had a different type of matting that had no holes in it. For aircraft run ways. See link Marsden was still in use to https://www.google.com/search?q=black+ponies+ov+-10&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=rxkVU8S5G4eFogTd3YGQCQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1301&bih=590#q=black+ponies+ov-10&tbm=isch&facrc=_&imgdii=u73m-8E236lC2M%3A%3BUYz3kOiI-BG3hM%3Bu73m-8E236lC2M%3A&imgrc=u73m-8E236lC2M%253A%3BhMro_0oHKO0P3M%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.ejection-history.org.uk%252FAircraft_by_Type%252FBRONCO%252FMORIARTY_Tim%252Ffile--blue.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.ejection-history.org.uk%252FAircraft_by_Type%252FOV_10_BRONCO.htm%3B835%3B624 WWII Europe Photo with PSP https://www.google.com/search?q=black+ponies+ov+-10&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=rxkVU8S5G4eFogTd3YGQCQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1301&bih=590#q=marsden+matting&tbm=isch&facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=O4Im4NrRKiDskM%253A%3BEAVQe3ylOZ4ERM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fww2db.com%252Fimages%252F50b7b945b117f.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fww2db.com%252Fimage.php%253Fimage_id%253D17311%3B1435%3B1800 https://www.google.com/search?q=black+ponies+ov+-10&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=rxkVU8S5G4eFogTd3YGQCQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1301&bih=590#q=marsden+matting&tbm=isch&facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=NWYovHSyo_jLkM%253A%3Bl4Jp-KTLdyYslM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fww2db.com%252Fimages%252Fair_typhoon2.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fww2db.com%252Fimage.php%253Fimage_id%253D191%3B640%3B480 https://www.google.com/search?q=black+ponies+ov+-10&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=rxkVU8S5G4eFogTd3YGQCQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1301&bih=590#q=marsden+matting&tbm=isch&facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=2BICexwAdZ6y9M%253A%3BoD6KY1_2vbTJHM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fupload.wikimedia.org%252Fwikipedia%252Fcommons%252Ff%252Ffb%252FAircrew_of_No._16_Squadron_SAAF_and_No._227_Squadron_RAF_sitting_in_front_of_a_Bristol_Beaufighter_at_Biferno%252C_Italy%252C_prior_to_taking_off_to_attack_a_German_headquarters_building_in_Dubrovnik%252C_Yugoslavia%252C_14_August_1944._C5894.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fcommons.wikimedia.org%252Fwiki%252FFile%253AAircrew_of_No._16_Squadron_SAAF_and_No._227_Squadron_RAF_sitting_in_front_of_a_Bristol_Beaufighter_at_Biferno%252C_Italy%252C_prior_to_taking_off_to_attack_a_German_headquarters_building_in_Dubrovnik%252C_Yugoslavia%252C_14_August_1944._C5894.jpg%3B800%3B544 Cheers Edited March 4, 2014 by Vandy 1 VX
