Loic
Hi guys, By the time ZM and HKM release their Do-335 to check if it is worth for me to continue working on my own build and eventually propose some upgrade kits, I needed a bit of "distraction" and bought myself a Tamiya Corsair This kit is GREAT !! but as you may have noticed, there still is room for improvement and scratch building So I started with the engine... well, sort of Hope you guys will like it ! Loic
Hi guys, some more work done on the rear bulkhead: The part was covered with tin and the rivets are raised like on the real thing. I have also worked on the oil tank made from styren: And the combination of these two: Thanks for following EmperorKai, TenSeven, Wurzacher and 1 other

David Hansen
Looks really cool so far. The work involved just in building the tubular engine mount is impressive. The oil tank looks cool too. I know this may sound like an unsophisticated approach, but you could bore a hole right thru that bulkhead and drill a corresponding hole in the back side of the oil tank, and stick a plastic rod in, which serves double duty as a stick to hold the tank from while spraying, and then a locator pin to mount the tank to the bulkhead. Just a thought. Did you notice how Tamiya really beefed up the front end of the fuselage? There is nothing flimsy about this model.
