RogerP
I am about to start the Hobby Boss 1/32 Spitfire Mk.V and I know there are some inherent problems which I need to correct. My question is - Does anyone make a replacement (aftermarket) set for the spinner and prop?
thierry laurent
Hi, Here's one good option: http://www.ww-model.pl/index.php?p9415,d-o-c-32006-1-32-spitfire-v-propeller-spinner-rotol-for-hobby-boss-kit HTH nmayhew
Iain
I'm building one at the moment (will post an 'in-progess' soon) and using the prop/spinner and canopy/windshield from the Hasegawa kit. An enjoyable build so far! Iain

Iain
Hi Roger - just kit. Model is being made as a promotional tool for a full size restoration to airworthy condition - so keeping it simple. I'll probably use one of Radu's Sutton harnesses but think that will be about it... Iain

Scotsman
I'd be Very wary about using the Aires set in the Hobby Boss spit , you can use some pieces , but the complete set just won't fit, too wide I'm afraid, I've got a wrecked Spit V kit somewhere to prove it! thierry laurent
With regard to the cockpit, using a Barracuda seat would already improve noticeably the situation.
