Zero77
Happy new year everybody ! I hope you all will have fun modelling, good health, luck and love with your friends and familly. Now here are some updates : Painting process : -priming -preshading -first coat of paint (thinned RLM 02 with a few drops of light grey) -second coat of paint -gloss clear coat (water based alclad gloss) -decaling -gloss coat again -weathering : dark brown wash in the panel lines, blue/green filter applied everywhere to break down the uniformity and give some slight variations in the color. -light sheen varnish (alclad laquer) -adding smoke stains aft the exhaust, and some oil leaks under the fuse -adding some pigments on the wing roots and under the fuse, fix with a coat of varnish I still have to correct some things, especially spraying some flat varnish on the smoke stain and where the pigments are. Zero77
I have to say that i regret to have chosen the RLM02 scheme instead of the dark green one (RLM82). Not that i dont like it, but i already have a He178 and a Fw190C kanguru that are also RLM02. So i think i have had a bad strategy, i will have a lot of RLM02 in my display. Babs
Thank you guys ! Does anyone know where do the empty case of the cowl guns get out? Because on the S-199, the underside ejection chutes are not present. Cartridges are collected in the ammunition magazine, not ejected. Nice S-199. LSP_Kevin
Nothing to regret about that one mate! Looks amazing, and so striking. I have a Me 262 planned for a similar scheme. Kev
