Hello an easy fix and cheap too,

 

Scribe a line where the spinner meets the baseplate saw off the three pices and glue them to the spinner putty and done.

Regarding to the shape, the revell spinner seems to be more accurate than the hasegawa :

Strange engineering, though... It could have been so simple to do a flat base and glue the spinner on it, as with the hasegawa parts....

NO, they could not do this! In such a case, the shape of the three holes would be erroneous as on the Hasegawa or Trumpeter Gustav kits! Look at the picture in your post.

 

However, they could have chosen the approach used by Hasegawa for the Friedrich! Still not perfect but better. The only solution with injected plastic to ease modeller's life would require a dedicated and complicated 5 parts slide mold! I guess this is considered as too expensive for a single part...

I hope to find a spinner/prob am kit from D.O.C. in my mail box this afternoon. I ordered them from a polish website. On picture they look great. Anyone already have them?
