Zero77 Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 (edited) Thanks ! Regarding to the shape, the revell spinner seems to be more accurate than the hasegawa : Strange engineering, though... It could have been so simple to do a flat base and glue the spinner on it, as with the hasegawa parts.... Edited December 6, 2013 by Zero77
thierry laurent Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 NO, they could not do this! In such a case, the shape of the three holes would be erroneous as on the Hasegawa or Trumpeter Gustav kits! Look at the picture in your post. However, they could have chosen the approach used by Hasegawa for the Friedrich! Still not perfect but better. The only solution with injected plastic to ease modeller's life would require a dedicated and complicated 5 parts slide mold! I guess this is considered as too expensive for a single part... Zero77 1
BGB Posted December 6, 2013 Author Posted December 6, 2013 Hello Yes it is better in shape then the Hase, Cheers Boris

phasephantomphixer Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Anyone tried the Eagleparts spinner on the Revell? It is the MOST accurate, yes?
BGB Posted December 6, 2013 Author Posted December 6, 2013 Hello, Actually dont know which is the best AM Spinner, lots of experts here somebody would surely be able to answer your question. Cheers Boris
phasephantomphixer Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 I do like your kit part fix, and will surely use it when I build one, but I ended up with a couple of Eagleparts spinners in a kit trade i haven't used yet.
