SinuheH
Hi gents I'm considering a F-16A Netz using the Hasegawa F-16A/C as a basis. Query, did this bird have the large or small stabilizers? Thanks and have a good WE Sinuhe PS Should read NEW Group Build query! SinuheH
Thanks Jennings - I'll go with the pic. I think it was only the 1st batch of Block 10/15 Aircraft that had small stabs….. interesting anecdote though
jenshb
All Block 1-10 aircraft initially were delivered with the small stabs. The larger stabs were fitted from Block 15 aircraft, and most air forces have retrofitted the large stabs to the earlier block aircraft. One notable exception appears to be Denmark that from what I know still uses the small stabs on their pre-Block 15 airframes, even if they are all MLU'ed. If your F-16 is a Block 10 aircraft, then it would have been delivered with the small stabs, but chances are the markings would be different, so you will need to pick a point in time and model it accordingly. I see that the photo also shows the new style of mainwheel that is not available in 1:32 AFAIK. Jens
