Hi all

 

I would like to know if dragons on P-38J were painted inside of the boom of the plane.

Eduard shows on his decals sheet a P-38H outside only!!!!

Futhermore on this photo, #11 don't seem to have of dragon inside  ( on the  intake if we zoom)....

Well, what do you think? If somebody had a photo it would be so cool

Here's an image I just snatched off the WWW. Not real sure if it helps or not, but still a cool photo. I also found a link to this book that may be of some interest to you, assuming it's still available.

Thank you Kevin, and I know this picture.... the head of the dragon is on the both side.... but the tail.....not sure....

Hi Skinner sorry for the fast / short reply.  :innocent:   Had to go .  Glad it helped    I looked at some other photos to. It seems to be no inboard tails. But the photos weren't very  clear.  I like to see your bird finished soon!!!!  My dad and I love P-38E with a Shark Mouth on them.
