LSP_K2
I completely neglected to mention that Mark (dodgem37), was kind enough to send me the JG53 badges, along with the entire C.E. Bf 109G sheet, for my use on this effort. Thanks again, Mark, I appreciate it so much. Apparently, the original C.E. set was issued without the JG53 insignia, but Mark was able to get an addenda for me. I've also ordered an additional Eagle Strike sheet that will give me all the additional markings I'll need for this machine. mpk
LSP_K2
Hard to tell perhaps, but this is the flare pistol port added to starboard area of windscreen. mpk
LSP_K2
It seems that there's a canopy release mechanism on port canopy side, so I've scratched one up. mpk
LSP_K2
Again, perhaps not as visible as I'd have liked, but I've cut a clear template for the armored glass. I'll make one out of thicker clear plastic later though. mpk
LSP_K2
Head armor frame is now complete, though not quite as accurate as I'd have liked. Close enough anyway. mpk
LSP_K2
And last, but not least, I've begun to add the brake lines, using .020 diameter rod. I tried lead wire first, but I'm just too darn clumsy to make that work. mpk
Sparzanza
I'll give you cake if you do that surgery to my 109's headrest! Looks amazing! LSP_K2 and mpk
