LSP_K2
Me too. Well, I added some more kit parts and minor details to pit, after straightening up putty with some acetone. mpk
LSP_K2
And port side starts to take shape. (Still some "tweaking" to do though.) Out2gtcha and mpk
dodgem37
Plenty of room to make plenty of nice goodies. When can we expect casts? Heh, heh. Sincerely, Mark LSP_K2 and mpk

LSP_K2
Last of the smaller bits added to port and starboard interior;... time for some paint! Mal_Belford, mpk and Uncarina
Uncarina
Great scratchbuilding, especially at this scale! Cheers, Tom mpk and LSP_K2
LSP_K2
Thanks, Tom. Well here we are with the first of several applications of Mr Surfacer to MLG doors. mpk
LSP_K2
As I suspected (and dreaded), a good many (read all), of the ejector pin marks on IP are quite visible with a coat of paint; some raised, some recessed. mpk
LSP_K2
Port and starboard now base coated. Mal_Belford and mpk
LSP_K2
I didn't particularly care for the gimmicky "working" MLG, so I just glued it all together. I managed to lose both pins that prevent lower portion from popping out, so I just inserted .040 rod instead. One assembly is dry, I'll trim and cap the ends. mpk
LSP_K2
I determined that it might just be easier to assemble exhaust stacks while half of the parts were still attached to sprue. Once dry, I'll clean up and add weld seams. mpk
Sparzanza
The exhausts are twice as annoying as the annoying orange. I like how the pit starts taking shape though, made all your scratchbuilding really worthwhile. It will be nice to see the detail painting. Keep it up! JRutman
You certainly made a big improvement over the kits parts in that pit. J mpk and LSP_K2
